I've changed all of the new videos that have updates with a new look to get the play bar out of the way.  I also made sure that all the videos on the top of this page (above the sun orange line) are cleaner, but with fewer controls.

Vimeo can put a play button in the middle of the 1st image (thumbnail).  You have a special thumbnail that does not have the bar in the middle.    The bar was shown after the user hit play.

I think you are rebuilding the videos inside of WordPress and not using the link to Vimeo.  If that's true it will slow the page down and use memory.

I can see how this looks great but it's defeating the Vimeo link idea.

Let me know if you would have me put the play icon in the middle of the thumbnail.

LOGO

I don't like the look of our Logo on the new site.  logo next to the “Mission Statement” looks weak.

I like the logo at the top of the old page.  The yellow sun is quite different than the green plaque we show on the side of our school. And is shown many times on these videos.  But the old logo really work with blue text, a nice sun orange/almost red and the sun effect works to much better on white bg.

I like the logo the Chris made.  But it's not consistant with everything else around the outside of the school.

It's subjective.  Rabe designed it in many looks.  I'll upload a page of the brochure he put together a few years after we got started.

Either way it looks great.  I like the words you used on one of the videos with the school name at the bottom.  And text at top too without the black bar in the way.

I can take the black bar away but it hinders going back or forward.

I didn't like the green but we like your colors more.  But the logo on white bg doesn't work.  The thick rays are just like the metal plackard on the side of the school entrance.  But it doesn't work on what very well.

Chris is the expert.  I'm sure he can help this work better.

Speed of the site.  When I programmed in HTML, everything was like going the sound barrier, even with 700 pages.

With WordPress, the number of pages has to be reduced to almost nothing to keep the pages popping on the screen.

I'll keep the old site running to help me teach.  I use the music (gm) and strings many pages to teach from.  And students can practice at home.

I'll keep the old site going, but reducing pages eventually that are not needed after the new site is ADE approved.

It's looking really good.  Great work.
